Survey Results
The following results are based on the first 500 responses to the Spiritual and Religious Values, Beliefs and Experiences (SRVBE) Survey. The results are now published as a PDF file for easy downloading and offline viewing.
This page will be updated periodically as the number of respondents increases. The following results are based on a very small, nonrandom sample and do not represent any larger population; therefore, one cannot make any certain generalizations from these initial findings. At this time, all of the findings presented here are descriptive in nature; additional quantitative (correlational) analyses and a qualitative analysis of the open-ended questions and comments will be done at a future time.
If you have not yet responded to the Survey, please consider doing so before reading any of the results, such that your own responses are not influenced by what is (or is not) reported here.
Please encourage a wide variety of others, who may be interested, to respond to the survey, because the larger and more diverse the sample, the more meaningful and valuable these results will be in helping us to learn more about and better understand the breadth and depth of human experience.
